Omni-Negation

Description

This is my continuing theory or idea to a person in the InuYasha universe having the same type of powers that Orihime has in the Bleach universe (But without the weird-looking fairies).

For this motivational screenshot I am going to be referring to Orihime’s powers as “Omni-negation” as that is what they are despite them being known as reality warping or reality rejection.

So, I have to tell you that the more and more I think about it the more it becomes impossible in my opinion.

I do think that a person can have “Negation” powers?  Yes.

But, for them to have Omni-Negation? No.

Negation: The user can negate anything, undoing the targets (whether power, being, energy/element, etc.) existence at least on temporary/local scale.

-Vs-

Omni-Negation: The power to negate and nullify everything. A variation of Nothingness Manipulation. Advanced version of Negation.  The user is able of negate and nullify every concepts, powers, universal definitions, laws and boundaries making them immune to everything and anything.

“Omni” is of course someone who possesses powers at a God’s level and as it been described by Aizen that Orihime’s powers do trespass into God’s territory or a place that even he (God) has limited for himself as well.

The thing is that in some ways her powers do scare me a bit and really does make even me have mixed feelings about them as Loly called it I am sorry to say that she is a bit of a monster because of those God-like abilities she holds in her hands and plus her powers of resurrection, she seems to think that she can go around saving countless lives with her abilities. At least we have not seen her resurrect the same person more than once but still doesn't mean she can't be able to either.

However, in the InuYasha universe it seems that unlike in the Bleach universe there seems to be universal laws to the powers of resurrection.

One perfect example is Tenseiga the heavenly sword fang that can only resurrect a person only once as it’s been stated by Sesshomaru’s mother that a life is supposed to be limited and is no trifle to save multiple times.

As it’s also stated in the SuperPower wikia page there seems to be some rules and side-effects when it comes to having this type of power (resurrection):

  • May be limited to certain number of self-resurrections or resurrections for others.
  • May have limited time defined by how long the target has been dead.
  • Some variations may have side-effects, on either the user or the resurrected:
    • User may suffer damage, exhaustion, or even death.
    • Resurrected may not have completely healed from the wounds that killed them, or they may be missing memories, or a soul in some cases.
    • Resurrected may deteriorate physically and/or mentally.
  • For some universal laws to be followed, resurrecting someone may require the death of another.

So could someone from the InuYasha universe come to possess powers like the ones Orihime has? Yeah, I do think so but are they going to be at an Omni level? No, I don’t think so because as I said it seems that there are limits to how powerful one can truly be and it seems that unlike in the Bleach universe powers in the InuYasha universe are not allowed to trespass into God’s territory it seems without there being dire consequences and of course there seems to be universal laws against them as well.

In many ways would make perfect sense especially with two very particular spiritual races that have yet to appear. ;P

I do not own Bleach or the screenshots, they belong to Tito Kubo.

I wonder what would happen if two people both omni-negation met would it be like magnets if you point the same ends together they repel each other?
