Favorite Character

I was only 10 years old when Gargoyles first came out and began making it's impact on the cartoon universe everywhere I also think this is the first cartoon series where I developed a crush on a fictional character and that character was none other then Brooklyn, from Disney's Gargoyles.

As much as I like most of the characters in Gargoyles, Brooklyn was my all time favorite character and I did have a crush on him.

I seriously don't know what it was about him but I found him to be very cute and it was even his beak that made him all the more admirable. I will admit that another reason I would watch Gargoyles was to always see Brooklyn.

Brooklyn serves as the clan's second-in-command with a somewhat sarcastic and impetuous attitude, but has a talent for tactics. Brooklyn chose his name after the New York borough.

I feel that Brooklyn has come developed a bit over the short live of the series as becoming the second in command of his clan he was shouldered with more responsibilities and helped him mature more which also helped with his popularity a bit too as he was quite popular among fans indeed.

His popularity among fans has made creator Greg Weisman, feel that he was could carry his own series and Weisman developed an idea for a spin-off series mainly for Brooklyn but it was too late and no network seriously considered it. (that is a motivational screenshot for another time though)

Even more then two decades later Brooklyn is still my favorite character and still think he is quite handsome indeed.

I think it might also be his white hair. I think I have a weakness for male characters with white hair.

I have no doubt that Brooklyn could have his own adventures on his own he has matured enough to go on them and carry his own series as well.
